The run game was extremely important for the Ironmen due to the snow that was coming down throughout the entire game.  Running back duo Nolan James (‘25) and Logan Bush (‘24) combined once again with two huge performances.  James ran for 157 yards on 15 carries with 1 touchdown, along with 3 catches for 22 yards.  Bush ran for 151 yards on 15 carries for 1 touchdown. The two combined for a total 308 yards.  Running back Ronnie Heath (‘23) also continued to build up his play time with 28 yards on 6 carries and 2 touchdowns.  Even through the snow, quarterback Nick Minicucci (‘23)  was able to have a strong game on both the throw and run game.  Minicucci attempted 8 throws, completing 6, and ran for 66 yards on 9 carries for 2 touchdowns.  Kicker Jack Donnelly (‘23) continued his strong season, going ⅘ on PATs.

Defensively, the Ironmen continued to be strong, only allowing Seton Hall two scores the whole night.  Defensive back Conor Cosgrove and linebacker Lamont Lester led the team in tackles.  Lester garnered himself 1 solo tackle and 5 assisted tackles, with Cosgrove barely behind him with 3 solo tackles and 1 assisted tackle.  Nick Severin (‘23) continued his strong season as well with an interception.  Both defensive back Mikey Genardi (‘23) and linebacker Vincent Bertone (‘24) earned themselves a pass disruption to keep the Pirates from scoring.

The Ironmen hope to continue this performance as they look ahead towards the Non-Public A State Championship.  This will be the second meeting of Bosco and Bergen this season, with the Ironmen coming out on top in their regular season league game showdown.
