Halloween is a very exciting time at Don Bosco when many students make plans with friends to hangout together and celebrate the holiday. Many students might not know what to do with their friends on Halloween, though. Here is what Ironmen are doing on Halloween to give out some ideas:
Daniel Sadiline, a senior who attended Don Bosco for all four years of high school, said he will be going to Fright Fest for the first time at Six Flags with his friends and is excited to see what it will be like there.
Many students will be part of similar activities and will be going to events like this with friends on Halloween. If you are uncertain about what to do, try asking one of your Ironman brothers for ideas. There are many parties on Halloween so if you ask around you might find someone who can invite you to go to one of them.
Don Bosco is trying to get some of the seniors into the Halloween spirit by letting them dress up on the holiday. An email was sent out to the senior class about rules and restrictions on the Halloween costumes to help keep them school appropriate.

Andrew Schalago ‘23, a part of the Don Bosco student council as the Student Activity Chair #1, said, “The student council decided on letting the seniors dress up for Halloween to enhance the spirit of Halloween within the school.”
Schalago elaborated on the importance of Halloween spirit in the school saying, “I think the Halloween spirit will affect the students in a positive way. It is an opportunity to bring the school community closer and more tight knit.”
Not only seniors are excited for Halloween fun at Bosco. Burke Poulin, a sophomore, spoke on what he is more excited for this Halloween saying “Something that I am most excited for this Halloween is to be around my friends and have a good time.”
Poulin also stated that he is happy that students will be dressing up for Halloween saying “Yeah, I think it would be pretty funny for students to wear their Halloween costumes and it would also make the staff have a good laugh as well.”
The time of Halloween is important at Don Bosco as it unifies students together to celebrate and enjoy the holiday. Each holiday only comes once a year so the Don Bosco community tries to make the most out of each one. If it’s wearing costumes together or spending time with friends the Halloween spirit is seen at Don Bosco.
